I wouldn't want to be a Turkey this week!

We plan on giving the crew Friday off also :)

We are Thankful for Our Staff and Customers.

Your Transportation Has Value

How do you value your vehicle?

You will have to value your vehicle when you purchase it.

First the Manufacturer will value it.

Next, the place or person you buy it from will put their value on it.

And then the Loan Company will set a value if you borrow to buy it.

Then the Insurance Company gets to put their value on it.

I just counted FIVE different values.

This industry is chaotic

much like the politicians

trying to get their slice of the pie for free.

I know you will have to value your transportation

if you ever have a wreck and

the repairs cost more

than the car is worth

to your insurance company.

I can't figure out who sets those values

but I see many people

end up having to make that decision.

What is my transportation worth?

NADA has a fair value website.

Your entitled to 70% of the "value".

Uhm, who sets these values?

I don't find a fair situation when settling on the value.

Make sure you receive

the correct value of your transportation

in any situation.

You may not think it is so important at the time.

The last six wrecks in here all totaled.



Three of my customers were so happy.


One of my customers wasn't,

her insurance company

gave her a low valuation so she received

not enough money

to replace her Lincoln she loved.


My other customer had a brand new car

she was driving home from purchasing it

and was rear ended by an SUV 2 hours south of here.

Good thing she had gap insurance(only available at purchase)

because her insurance company valued her transportation

to be less than she owed on the car.


My last customer owed more than the car was worth.

She had no gap insurance. The finance company

she went through took the car back

 and the check from the insurance company

and the money she still owed after that

was added to the cost of another vehicle she bought

and financed through the same finance company.

So she owes more than the vehicle is worth again.



The cost to make repairs may seem high to consumers

but there are so many factors in making a vehicle

safe to drive up and down these roads.

There are many more complexities to a vehicle

than people realize and cost are high for the parts.

We can't get insurance companies to pay us for all the things we do

so we make sure we can cover all those costs ourselves

before we will commit to making repairs to someones transportation.

If an insurance company is wanting us to repair your vehicle,

just know that we care enough to make sure that the insurance company

will be making those repairs in the correct manner for your vehicle.

And don't take the vehicle you drive for granted please.

Keep up with recalls because mistakes are common nowadays.

Find a place for service and keep that vehicle up to date.

 The deer are out of hand right now!

Next time you jump in the car, truck, bus...

Think safety first.

Most people don't.

Especially road safety equipment, 

you would think that stuff is the safest!

It isn't though. 

The variables in this world are never given a thought.

Did that company building those guardrails make a mistake?

Or the Manufacturer of your vehicle,

could they have made a mistake?

What about that Company 

who built the road 

you drive on? 

Can a road be built incorrectly?

Hmmm,...

YES!

Those business' 

that knowingly cover up their boo boo's 

are all around us everyday.

So please excuse my trust issues.

I see too many wrecks in a day.

I know what happens out there

on the roads these days.

I drive everywhere with a dash cam recording

in front of me

and behind me

and on the sides of me...

It gives no protection at all.

It gives piece of mind to prove a point if I have to.

Think about the safety of your world you travel in.

Not many people do.

It can all change in a second

because of a 

WRECK!
